Big Slide (and a Haircut)
It's been a fun, relaxing weekend. I took Mommy Cia to Skyline Park in Arlington. They have a HUGE slide that is built into the side of the hill. I don't know about you, but whenever I see big things I am inclined to climb them. After going once or twice with Mommy Cia, I decided I needed to try taming the slide on my own. So, what's a boy to do but to climb up the stairs and go down solo? You got it! Make sure you play my video clip (above). When you watch it, you just might be wishing you were able to slide down that slide, too.
Below is a pic of me walking up the stairs. You'd think I was climbing an Aztec ruin!
On Saturday we saw Uncle Rob and cousins Hayden & Myra, and Art and Lisa and their kids Kelsey and Cody. I don't have any pictures from our time together, but we did get to Meme's house again and took a ride on her speed boat. This time we went to Blueberry Island and picked fresh blueberries off of the tree. They were so good, I ate the bucket-full that I had picked before we even headed back to the house.
Earlier in the day, Uncle Rob tried very hard (but alas, no luck) to get me to have a haircut. He and Hayden were going for a trim, so he thought I'd be game. Ah well, he tried. Mommy Cia said my hair was looking rif-raff, so she took me in to the first Snip-Its where I got my very first haircut. And, ta-da!!! I am now the proud owner of a very nice cut. It only took something like 6 or 7 months to get to this point, but who's counting? Here's my new "do"...don't I look handsome and grown up? Watch out ladies, I'm comin' for you now - Rrrr...!
