Busy, busy

Remember when I told you how I was learning to step up? Here's the proof!

Ok, so maybe it's not the best proof, but the background is this. I was using my mailbox toy to step and pull myself up onto the couch. This afternoon I have been climbing, climbing, climbing! So much so that I tuckered myself out and am ready for a nap.

Here are some other fun pictures of me in a lobster pot! This was from when my Grandma Bertha and Aunt Lakia came to visit me.

Long Time, No Write...

Ok, I admit...I've been a slacker about blogging for the last week or so. But really, it's been a busy couple of weeks. In fact, I still have to show you the award I received on my last Early Intervention appointment! My very first award, that's right! Mommy Cia and Mommy Jenny were so excited about it and promptly put it up on our refrigerator. Check it out...

All because of the awesome crawling that I've been doing. And let me tell you, it hasn't slowed down. Not one bit. In fact, I've been going at warp speed for the last week-and-a-half. So much so that Mommy Jenny finally put up the security gate. Now, I'm making serious mileage back and forth between the all of the upstairs rooms. Not only that, I've also started to learn how to step up a little. I'll share a picture of that in another post. But the point is, no place is out of bounds for me now!

Last week my Grandma Bertha and Aunt Lakia came to visit me. We had a really fun time and we played a lot. Here's a picture of Aunt Lakia and I reading together.

And here I am with Grandma Bertha.

A busy week indeed! Until next time...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ahh...love is in the air. Can you feel it? Mommy Jenny made heart-shaped pancake and omlets to celebrate my first Valentine's day. Yummy! Too bad I couldn't eat them. Well, I had a strawberry instead, so I guess that's ok.

After breakfast I handed out Valentines to my mommies (see me giving my Valentine below). And, in the spirit of giving the love, I send you this special Valentine, too. Happy Valentine's Day!

Strawberry Delight

My two teeth (yes, still only two for now) and I are getting along quite famously. I'm progressing quite nicely from goopy rice cereal and purees to REAL food!

Here are some of the things I've tried eating (and mostly liked!):
  • strawberries

  • banannas

  • mangos

  • cataloupe

  • honeydew mellon

  • pineapple

  • oranges (in moderation)

  • grapefruit

  • sweet potatoes

  • mashed potatoes

  • pureed carrots with parsnip (ok, it's pureed...but I still like it!)

  • and last, but not least, cheerios...of course.

Here is a video and more pics of me eating my strawberry. YUM!

Busy Boy

Happy Thursday! It was a busy day for me today. In my effort to help Mommy Cia stay in shape, I made it a point to immediately crawl about whenever she'd put me down. There was lots of pulling up (using the couch, my toys, sofa table). You name it, I was usin' in. And once I was up, I was trying to cruise. Cruisin' and bruisin', baby.

Mommy Cia works from home on Thursdays, but during her breaks we would play or eat, and during lunch we took some silly pictures together.

Check out our sequence...

Off I go now...until next time!

Super Tuesday

It's Super Tuesday and Presidential Primaries are being held all over the place. DID YOU VOTE TODAY?! I did, and what a momentus occassion it was.

A very nice policeman was standing watch - he was TALL! He was very nice, though, and told me he liked my outfit (I was wearing the bear outfit Miss Sandy gave me) while we were waiting for Mommy Jenny to submit her vote. Then we were off and he was back to layin' down the law.

A big, big day and very important business, indeed.

Though my Mommies didn't take my picture today, I give you these images of me standing up from the other day.

Just like this Presidential election year, it's all about momentus events, you see.

A Super Upset!

Oh no, say it isn't so! My beloved Patriots LOST to the Giants tonight. It was such a close game and after scoring a touchdown with only a little over 2 minutes left in the game, I thought we'd totally win.

After such a great season...what an upset. See my upset face? That's a face that says, "I can't believe we lost the Super Bowl".

Well, my friends...there's always next year. Who knows. Maybe we can go 18-0 into the Super Bowl again. Stranger and more unlikely things have happened before, right?

Super Bowl XLII

It's almost game time! I can't wait and am ready for the big game. My jersey is on, food is on the way - all that's left is to see the pretty cheerleaders!

I was watching the pre-game show and they had Alicia Keyes performing. Oh, she is pretty and I was captivated listening to her sing and watching her dance. Ooh-la-la!

Now, I ask you...

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!!!!

Super Bowl XLII Haiku

Tomorrow is Super Bowl XLII and my hometown team, The Patriots, is playing against the NY Giants. Let's go Pats! In anticipation of the big game, I give you this haiku.

The Pats play, Go Pats
Giants, they don't stand a chance
My heart beats - let's win!

Play Group Fun

Today I took my mommies to a playgroup in Boston. They had a lot of fun meeting new people and I had fun hangin' with peeps my size. There was crawling and giggling and lots of wiggling. Fun, fun, fun! I can't wait to do it again!

Double Take

I was rooting around on Mommy Cia's computer today and found a picture of her when she was a baby. Then I realized - she was looking at the camera the same way I was in one of my pictures. Check this out! Mommy Cia is on the left and I'm on the right.
