Big Toilet!

Big news this evening! And by BIG, I mean that I went pee pee using the BIG toilet. Not the potty chair. The real deal, people. Oh yeah! I'm da little man. Whoop! Whoop! Soon enough I'll be aimin' for Cheerios and Fruit Loops. I hear that's loads of fun.

The picture below is from when Mommy Cia and I visited Franklin Park Zoo. But let's just pretend it's me sayin', "I'm Number 1, cuz I can use the BIG toilet!"

Peace out.

Water Fun

Man, it is HOT. And I do mean H.O.T. Here I am cooling off. I even tried to do a handstand on my water table.

On Saturday I met up with Uncle Rob, Aunt Brenda, cousins Hayden and Myra and Mr. Art and is son, Cody. They were visiting the Harbor Islands as part of their cub scout trip, so we decided to meet up with them at Spectacle Island and tag along. It was loads of fun. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Bowl-a-rama

It's been icky weather this week, so I told Mommy Cia that we needed to get out of the house for a bit. What better way to spend rainy weather than by participating in an age-old pastime...bowling! To be clear, we decided to try out Candlepin bowling. You know. Tiny, tiny bowling balls and skinny-as-heck candlepins. The verdict? Mommy Cia really blows at bowling. She's a blowin' bowler. Or something like that. The first time she tried candlepin bowling, she only scored a 35. Me? I scored a 51! That's right. Boo-yah!

Afterwards we visited JP Licks in Somerville for a well-deserved bowl of ice cream. I can't pass up a good scoop of ice cream.

Speaking of rain, check out my umbrella. I like it a lot and find it useful at keeping the rain off when I hold it over my head. Go fig.

Artsy Fun

Another weekend is coming up, so I figured I better get on the ball and tell you about my Artsy Fun-time with Mommy Jenny last weekend.

On Friday, we dropped by Mass MoCA on our way to my friend George's house. Mass MoCA has a cool kid's space that lets us touch the exhibits. Of course, music man that I am, I immediately gravitated towards the wall of guitars! Check out my musical skills...as you can see, I'm branching out beyond the piano.

There was also a Sol Lewitt mural exhibition and I LOVED it! Large walls of colors and shapes, and of course, everyone around me was impressed that I knew all of my colors and shapes. I also loved a big silver sculpture by Simon Starling and stand by my claim that it was a dinosaur. Mommy Jenny asked me, "Ok, so then where's the dinosaur's head? and feet? and tail?" and I was quick to point them out. How could she argue?

When we finally landed at George's house I enjoyed seeing lots of little wooden animal sculptures that he has sprinkled around the place, including a little zebra sitting on the window ledge above the bed I slept in. I especially loved the wooden duck, which I wanted to bring downstairs at breakfast so the duck could eat too. All in all...a very good (and artsy-filled) weekend, indeed.

Until next time!

Let The Good Times Roll

Sun, sun, sun. It's finally starting to feel like summer these days. I spent part of my weekend in Plymouth again, but no pictures this time. Instead, let me share with you some images from an outting I took with Mommy Jenny a couple of weeks ago along with some other poolside pics.

One night we went to see Ice Age, which I loved. Dinosaurs and popcorn, of course! The next day we slept in, had a lazy morning of games and breakfast, went to the office for a bit then to the mall. When the weekend rolled around we were thrilled for the sun so our trip was not spoiled. We went downtown to take the boat to Spectacle Island for the afternoon but also discovered a carousel on the greenway! So of course we had to try it out. Then on to the boat for our island adventure. Had a picnic, rolled around in the grass, played some kickity kick ball, and had a great time. I enjoyed stealing Mommy Jenny's oreo cookie, breaking it in half and offering her the half without the cream -- then running away laughing hysterically. As Mommy Jenny chased me, I turned around, shoved the cookie in my mouth, and laughed. After all of this hoo-ha, I fell asleep on the boat going back and woke up just as we docked. Lucky me, because we got to go to Mike's for cannolli's and headed back for dessert and tea/juice. Yum.

Here are some more pics, along with some other pictures from some time at the pool. Until next time!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! Today we had awesome weather and beautiful sunshine. Something we've been lacking this entire summer in the Northeast. Our Independence Day celebration including fishing (of course), speed boating, water-tubing, eating (also, of course) and good times with family and friends (old and new)!

A few weeks ago Uncle Rob & Aunt Brenda's nice friends, Art & Lisa invited me to Meme's house. We were invited again for the 4th and it was so nice to see them both along with their little peepers, Kelsey and Cody. I also got to see Meme again (she's so sweet!) and Art's brother, Mr. Paul, and his wife Ms. Debbie and daughter Sabrina. Uncle Rob had a friend, Mr. Matt, visiting from Iowa. Mr. Matt's a big fisherman, like Uncle Rob. I think I impressed him with my fishing vest and stellar casting skills. And, of course, I got to see cousins Hayden and Myra. Always, always a treat!

So, Mr. Art's family has a speed boat. And one of the things that speed boat likes to do is pull things. Like a water tube. Now, I checked it out while the water tube was docked, but Mommy Cia actually took a whirl water-tubing for real, and she had a blast! She was laughing the entire time - even though she couldn't wear her glasses and could barely see past her nose. I got to ride in the speed boat (and wore my new life preserver, too!). Talk about thrill ride. I went out once while Mr. Paul was driving and he even let me drive!!!

All in all, an awesome 4th of July. Here are some pics. Until next time!
